
Malkangiri, 15/9/25 : Joint public grievance hearing camp has been held today at Korkunda Block Office. District Magistrate Somesh Upadhyay and Security Inspector Vinod Patil H were present and heard the complaints of the public. A total of 42 complaints were heard today out of which 13 were individual complaints and 29 were collective complaints. Similarly, 4 ration cards, 1 electricity connection, 5 land mortgage related, 1 employment related, 1 drinking water, 1 social security pension and 27 road and building and development related complaints were heard. In this hearing, online services were camped for immediate resolution of issues related to ration card, labor card, Aadhaar card update, health card, social security pension and forest land. In today’s camp, 68 workers were given labor cards while 26 workers were newly registered. Similarly, the cards of 57 workers have been renewed. Names of 5 persons and 4 beneficiaries have been registered for ration card in Social Security Pension Scheme. Similarly, EKYC of 23 ration card beneficiaries has been updated. The Aadhaar card of 15 people has been updated while the health of 57 people has been examined. Due to the innovative efforts of the District Collector, many rural beneficiaries are benefiting from immediate online services. After hearing the public grievances, the District Collector visited the Korkunda Government High School and tested the quality of the mid-day meal. Along with this, the District Magistrate visited the school infrastructure and inquired how the lessons are going on in the school. Along with this, all the district level officials have visited other schools and tested the quality of midday meals as per the instructions of the District Collector. Today’s joint public grievance hearing camp was attended by District Council Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Naresh Chandra Shabar, Bankhand Officer Sai Kiran, Korkunda Vidy, Assistant District Collector Election Ashok Chakraborty among others.
