Kolabira, 29.10 (Fast News Odisha) Kolabira block level survey program was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Group Education Officer Prakash Sahu at Bhishmadeva High School, Pokharasahle. The program started when all the contestants arrived at the scheduled time. Block Chairman Bhojraj Patel as Chief Guest, District Council Member Nrupalal Pasayat as Guest of Honour, Local Sarpanch Laxmipriya Behera, BDS High School Principal Thilottama Dehuri, Additional Group Education Officer Nirma Shetpathi, School Management Committee President Narendra Bhoi, Kolabira High School Principal Chinmayi Devshri Ping took the podium and delivered his speech. Madhusudan Balwant Rai, Principal, Baghmara College, was the keynote speaker. The competitions were started after the inauguration by the block chairman. Junior, Senior, Senior High Secondary contestants participated in Speech, Music, Debate, Essay Writing, Drawing, Quiz, Creative Writing, Odisha Signature, PM Poshan Art, Industrial Art, Model United Nation Pavilion. Similarly, in the inauguration ceremony under the chairmanship of BEO Prakash Sahu, District Education Officer Radhakant Gadtia was the chief guest, Kirmira BEO Jayanarayan Panda, Jharsuguda BEO Anil Kumar Patel, Lykera BEO Himanshu Bagh, senior teacher Shindra Patel were present and gave keynote speeches. At this moment, Director of Education and Jharsuguda Nodal Officer Sasmita Sahu arrived and participated in the program and encouraged the students. Later, certificates were awarded to the contestants. Sodamal High School won first place, KG Girls High School second place, CDB High School Parmanpur third place in cultural event. A total of 260 students participated in the program. The candidates who won the first place have been informed to participate in the district level survey on the next 31st. All the teachers of the block survey committee participated in the program. Teacher Ashok Sahu, Lincoln Naik moderated the stage while at the end teacher Padmini Dao gave the vote of thanks to everyone. Sameer Kumar Patel reports from Colabira.
