
Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): Worship of Agrapujya Gajanan. The worship of Lord Shri Ganesh, the deity of Vidya, was nurtured in Dhumdham according to tradition and rules in Baliguda town and its surrounding Purpalli. In this context, the 18-feet five-foot Ganesha Puja became the most attractive during the ninth annual Ganesha Puja of the Town Friends Group at the Puja Mandap premises of the local Sri Sri Ma Patkhanda Durga Puja Samiti. After all the puja rituals were followed, in the evening after 108 alati in the Puja Mandap premises, Prasad was distributed to the public and devotees. Various cultural programs were organized and the day saw the gathering of all the students and common devotees. There was excitement in everyone’s mind. In the same way, the children who are starting their studies are also affected by the stick. The puja mandap is decorated with huge idols of Ganesha, huge pendals and colorful lights. Villages, towns, and markets are bustling. With colorful torans and well-decorated puja mandaps, there is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement for Ganesh Puja. Beautiful torans and statues have been prepared everywhere based on different themes.
