Koraput, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 03.12.2025 Rikh: District Administration Koraput (Social Security and Disability Empowerment Sub-Division) International Day of Disabled Persons-2025 Koraput Government Women’s Higher Secondary School has been raised in a grand ceremony in Koraput! The main purpose of celebrating this day is to contribute to the society of the disabled and solve the problems they face! In this program, the chief guest Ms. Sasmita Melka, District Council Chairperson, Koraput attended! Among the other guests, Mr. Lalat Ranjan Sethi, Chairman, Por Poulaka, Koraput, Mr. Sai Thani, ADPHO, Mr. Tarun Tapan Praharaj, District Social Security Officer, Koraput, Ms. Nisha K. S., Sub-District Social Security Officer, Koraput were the main contributors! On the occasion of this event, a special march was started by Mr. Manoj Satyaban Mahajan, District Collector, from the office of the District Collector at 9 am to Govt Women’s Higher Secondary School, Koraput. Later, with a keynote speech by the guest, prizes and certificates were awarded to the students who participated in the essay, essay, drama and music competition held among the differently-abled students from Central School, Koraput, Shishu Vidya Temple, Koraput, Mental School, Koraput, Visually Impaired School, Koraput and Hearing Impaired School, Sunabeda! Finally a cultural program was organized and the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to all! The fire department, police department, spread private organizations and Ekta private institute staff were present in this program! Ms. Ahan Baid, Block Social Security Officer, Mr. Subrata Manigarahi, Junior Assistant, Mr. Sudshanshu Singh, Mr. Arjun Majhi and all members of Social Security Sub-Division, Koraput organized and supervised the event! In addition, on this day, wheelchairs were distributed in various programs organized in different blocks of the district and special skilled equipment was distributed for the disabled in Damanyodi, Koraput today!
