
Jharsuguda, 25.2 (Fast News Odisha): Jharsuguda Police has got a big success. Taking swift action under ‘Operation Netra’, Sadar Thana police busted the case of theft from ‘Urban Ayushman Healing Temple’ in Sarasmal and arrested two accused within 18 hours. About 3 lakh rupees worth of stolen goods have been seized from them along with the vehicle used in the theft. Case No. 100 (date 24.02.2026) was registered in Sadar police station after a complaint of theft from ‘Urban Ayushman Healing Temple’ (UAAM) in Sarasmal late at night. In view of the importance of the incident, a special team was formed under the direct supervision of Jharsuguda SP and the investigation was started. On the basis of technical surveillance and information from local detectives, the police identified and nabbed the accused. As a result of this swift action, the accused were caught in the police net within 18 hours. Arrested accused are Subodh Sahu (34): Father- Manoj Sahu, Malipada, Siriabgichha, Jharsuguda. Sanjay Keshari (45): Father- Late Ghanshyam Keshari, Velubahal, Ladgaon, Sundargarh. Police recovered 2 inverter batteries, one Samsung LED TV, CCTV DVR, inverter machine, face mask from the accused. A gold chain and a diamond ring were seized along with the recognition machine. Apart from this, a Mahindra pick-up (OD-23N-6649), a Honda sign bike (CG-14-MR-5512), a cutting machine and a ladder were also seized. The police have informed that the accused will be arraigned today. Jansadharan has expressed the opinion that this has been made possible due to the quick action of the Jharsuguda police.
