Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 07.01.2025 Rikh: The regional agricultural machinery fair for the current year 2025-26 has been inaugurated today at the local new market ground Nabarangpur and it will be held till 11.01.2026! Rajya Sabha MP Mujibullah Khan, Nabarangpur MLA Gaurishkan Majhi, Additional District Collector (Revenue) Biswajit Burman, Chief Engineer Agriculture Department Bishnu Prasad Mishra, DGM, Agricultural Industries Corporation Lalit Mohan Jena, Lok Sabha MP representative Jyoti Ranjan were the guests of honor in the fair presided over by District Magistrate Maheshwar Swamy. Brass major was present! First the guests visited all the stalls set up in the fair! Chief District Agriculture Officer Sudhiranjan Behera opened the meeting with a welcome speech! In this fair, the district level officers, the chief officers of the agriculture department, fisheries department, horticulture department, about 1000 farmers from all blocks, public representatives were present! A total of 115 stalls have been organized in the fair, in which there are manufacturers and sellers of various machinery companies and food stalls! In the agricultural machinery fair, various manufacturers agencies displayed various agricultural machinery such as tractors, rotavators, combine harvesters, paddy threshers, pump sets, drones, solar pumps, power tillers, garden tools and informed the farmers about various government schemes! 10 small grain food manufacturers participated! The main purpose of this agricultural machinery fair is to inform the farmers about various government schemes through government financial support, subsidies, purchase of agricultural machinery at discount and bank loan, knowledge of new agricultural machinery and its use, farmer workshop! 10 farmers were given new tractors (with subsidy) by the guest! The guests asked the farmers of the district to use agricultural machinery to grow their economy and to visit all the stalls in this fair and apply online for subsidy!
