This regional fair has been held in Mayurbhanj, Balswar, Kandujhar, Bhadrak districts. Mayurbhanj district has started a regional agricultural machinery fair at Chou Padhya in Baripada from today. The five-day long demonstration of state-of-the-art agricultural mechanization reflects the government’s promotion of farming using modern methods. Lok Sabha MP Nab Charan Majhi joined as the chief guest of the inauguration ceremony and inaugurated the program and expressed hope that the farmers will benefit by being informed about the modern agricultural machinery. MLA Rairangpur Jalen Naik as the main speaker, and Lada Sahi MLA and Bangiri Poshi as the guest of honor said that the government is committed to double the income of farmers by using scientific knowledge and organic fertilizers. He advised the officials to inform about the subsidy system of the government for modern agricultural mechanization and always help the farmers for better farming. The government is spending crores of rupees on such fairs for the development of agriculture, but many questions are being raised about the actual investment of this money and the success of this fair and some farmers have expressed their displeasure. How many actual farmers have participated in this fair and what others have been brought. Time will tell to what extent the agriculture department can make it a success and will play a leading role in bringing all the facilities to the farmers. But all the plans of the government are only on paper and pen. But it will not be wrong to say much less about its true meaning. Officials keep this in mind and efforts are essential for success. Cooperation of agricultural workers and full cooperation of farmers is essential for development in agriculture sector. But due to the negligence of some corrupt government officials, the gap between the government’s Malmal scheme in the agricultural sector and the farmers and agricultural work is increasing day by day. , a total of 114 stalls have been opened in this fair. While some of these stalls are under the Department of Agriculture, some of these stalls have been given to SSG Group and some stalls have been given to Ormas, but 30 dealers have taken 58 stalls. Discussions are raging in Chashimahal regarding the extent to which the government sanctioned funds have been invested in the fair following the guidelines of the fair and to what extent all the facilities are available. In this fair, it is a great effort of the government to provide agricultural machinery at discounted rates to farmers and self-help groups, to avoid labor shortage and to bring development and success in the agricultural sector of the farmers. District Chief Agricultural Officer Loknath Mishra and other agricultural officers and all departmental staff and President of State Agricultural Inspectors Association Trisarkanti Mohanty are continuing their efforts by donating all their efforts for the success of this regional fair.
