Malkangiri, 24/01: Free Mega Medical Camp was held today at the Malkangiri District Sadar Mahkuma at the Good Owners Group of Institutions. While the residents of the district welcomed such a social work, the college representative Dr. Shiv Narayan Pan said that the program will be continued every year due to the health problems of all the residents of Malkangiri district. According to the information, a similar program was held last December, in association with Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital in Visakhapatna, for the first time in Malkangiri district, a cancer screening camp was conducted at the Bula Maliki Group of Institutions. The main objective of which was to create awareness about cancer and how to provide free treatment to poor people who have any symptoms of cancer. Similarly, this month on 24/01, a free health check-up program started at 9 am in Malkangari and similarly with Omega Anu Medical in Vijayawada under the supervision of a 5-member medical team. First, the program started after offering flowers to the Lord by Mr. Gaurang Karmakar, District Bengali Samaj President, District Adivasi Maha Sangh Adviser Mr. Khanshyam Madkami as chief guests in the college premises. The program was started with the support of 5 medical doctors from Omega Anu Medical Center, Vijayawada, Dr. Sheikh Mastan (Cardiology), Dr. N. Ramarao (Orthopaedics), Dr. S. Sarita (Nephrology), Dr. Aditya Nadella (Oncology) and others. According to the registration, more than 800 people from the district came and got their health check-up. Blood pressure, diabetes, weight and obesity were found to be more common in patients. The owner thanked all the members of the group of institutions for the work being done to serve the people of the district. The Chairman and Editor of Good Owners Group of Institutions, Dr. Shiv Narayan Pot, President Phillip Das, Vice President Shankar Pal said that this program will continue every year. He also requested the people of Malkangari district that if there is a disabled person who does not have arms and legs, bring him and register him in our institution so that we will provide him with free limbs on behalf of our college or institution. We thank the people of the district for their cooperation in such a program. Not only the students studying in our college are our family but also their family is our family as it is our duty to take care of their health. Dr. Shiv Narayan thanked all the members of the college and P.
