Malkangiri, 29/1/26: Today, the Malyavant festival promo music was launched at the local culture building by the District Culture Council. District Governor and District Culture Council Chairman Somesh Kumar Upadhyay unveiled the music while Additional District Governor Rajsab Vedbar Pradhan, District Welfare Officer Srinivas Achari, District Culture Officer Santhras Narayan Panda, District Art Culture Association Vice President Ghenu Muduli, MP Representative Sanjay Sarkar and MLA Representative Maniklal Chakraborty were present. On this occasion, the District Collector said that between 1st and 5th February, the district level Malyavant festival and Pallashri Mela are being organized. Renowned artists of the state and Bollywood artists have been invited. Abal Uma Banita participated in this festival in large numbers and appealed to the District Collector to make it a success. Similarly, the District Governor has called for a large number of people to participate in the boat driving competition to be held at the Satiguda water reservoir on the 31st. The program was moderated by Dushav Mishra. District Information and Public Relations Officer Pramila Majhi gave vote of thanks. All the artists and technical team involved in the production of this music were present. Students from various colleges among others were present in the event.
