“Village Revenue Administration” program was held in Cuttingpani village of Nuapada tehsil under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Madhusudan Dash. To strengthen the administration and ensure prompt redressal of public grievances, this program was successfully held today. In the presence of District Collector, Deputy District Collector Surmi Soren, Tehsildar Pranab Ranjan Sahu and other senior officers and employees of Nuapada Tehsil, various complaints of the public were heard. The initiative, conceived by the District Collector, was primarily aimed at prompt redressal of common people’s grievances related to revenue and land issues at the village level. During the discussion, the villagers actively raised their problems before the administration. Apart from revenue-related issues, the District Magistrate also heard complaints related to road connectivity, electricity supply, drinking water supply and other developmental works. The problems raised by the local residents were focused on and promises were made for appropriate and coordinated action by the concerned departments.
