Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): Kandhamal District Baliguda Sub-Khand administration has organized a preparatory meeting for Eid and New Year at the Block Assembly House under the supervision of local Tehsildar Pratham Prakash Behera. The meeting was attended by dignitaries of all religions of Baliguda area. Group Development Officer Akshay Malli joined as a guest and discussed to celebrate Eid and New Year in a peaceful manner. The Christian community requested the administration for night patrolling and strict police guarding in every church during Ujagar and night prayer. It was discussed that strict action will be taken by the administration against those who create dangerous situations and those who post on social media as inciting religious opposition. After that, Barkhma Christian Society President Prakash Kumar Naik made a proposal from the Christian community present to visit various churches on behalf of the administration. Many intellectuals including dignitaries of all religions of Baliguda were present in this meeting.
