Kalahandi Makund Naik:-(Fast News Odisha) Odisha Rising Foundation Bhubaneswar, one of the private institutes of the state, continues its efforts to provide education through STEM education to students studying in various schools of Kalahandi district to become more proficient in science, mathematics and English. On this occasion, a training workshop was organized at Police High School in Kalahandi district. Kalahandi district ADEO Shalvimohan Sahu, district science supervisor Dushmant Shekhar Padhi, district coordinator Prashant Kumar Nand, DEO office secondary school incharge Birendra Kumar Acharya were present, while Kalahandi program leader Pragya Abhrasha Tripathi, one of the Kalahandi program leaders Aditi Kumar Acharya from Odisha Rising Foundation, were also present. A workshop was organized for the members. In this workshop, all the present officials of the District Education Office had a thorough discussion about STEM. Teachers from different schools of 13 Blocks of Kalahandi district including DIRG members were present. It is going to be held in all the blocks later. The officials present expressed the view that special training will be given to the teachers who teach science, mathematics and English to the students from class VI to VIII and STEMS club will be opened at the school level. In the end, Aditya Kumar Acharya, program leader on behalf of Odisha Rising Foundation, gave vote of thanks.
