Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): In Kandhamal District Baliguda sub-district of K. Nuaga police station Yugapadar village late on Saturday night, a young man was found to have beaten an old man to death in a wood gap. While the reason for the murder is unclear, the deceased was identified as Alekh Nayak of Kanjamendi village, while the killer was identified as Mithun Mallik of Yugapadar village. K. Naugaon police arrived at the scene of the incident and took the murderer Mithun Mallik into their custody. According to information, after the death of the nephew, on Saturday, Alekh went to the nephew’s house in Yugapadar. Alekh’s relatives have revealed that when Aleh went out to urinate late at night, Mithun beat him to death with a wooden plank while intoxicated.
