At this time, there was an exchange of fire between the Javanese and the Maoists. A Javanese was seriously injured in the incident. He was Constable Prem Singh Majhi. He was initially treated at Indragarh Hospital. He was later brought to Bhanjnagar Medical Center on Thursday evening. Since his condition is critical here, he was sent to Brahampur Bada Medical Center for further treatment at 7:20 PM.
At this time, under the leadership of Bhanjnagar police station officer Jibna Nand Jena, the security system has been increased in the medical center. He also understood the medical treatment of the injured. Due to non-availability of orthopedics and surgery specialists in Bhanjnagar Medical Centre, two doctors from Berhampur and Asika were suddenly brought on deputation. After the said two doctors and Bhanjnagar medical staff gave first aid to the injured, arrangements were made to send him to Berhampur. According to medical sources, his health condition is stable. Bhanjnagar Medical Superintendent Dr. Sitansu Shekhar Shetpathi led a team of doctors who treated the injured.
