Nuapada: Promotion, enforcement by Legal Weights Department in Kharia Road Notified Area Council l Under the direction of District Magistrate Madhusudan Das, it was enforced by Sub-District Magistrate Surmi Soren, Executive Magistrate Phillip Kumar Pote, Nuapada Legal Measurement Inspector Kshitish Ranjan Das and Prithuraj Hasada, Deputy Controller Legal Measurement Scientist in the presence of Additional Tahsildar. In this, 12 different shops like grocery store, poultry shop, hardware store etc. were inspected. 3 cases were investigated and a fine of Rs. 7000 was imposed. The police cooperated in this raid. The departmental officials said that the enforcement will continue in the coming days.
