Khariar Road: Today the Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi announced the Regional Council, Chairperson of Khariar Road Dr. Sonia had the opportunity to welcome Goldie Agarwal to her residence. It was a nice break for the overall improvement of Khariar Road. The chairperson placed before the Chief Minister a grant of Rs 65 crore and 22 major projects for the development of the city. In particular, the construction of check dam in the river Jonk, NAC to the municipality, bypass road, construction of +2 colleges, construction of courtyards, grand welcome gates on both sides of the city, shelter homes for the homeless, construction of cowsheds, new all-purpose playground, 500 capacity auditorium, 20 m. Elevation of National Flag, Smart Park, Swagat Gate, Model Bazar and Mini Cold Storage, Housing for NAC Staff, Restoration of John Peace Park, Kurumunda Stadium Improvement, New Public Library, City Beautification, New Market Complex at Old NAC Office, Construction of Roads and Canals in all 19 Wards, Smart Development of 3 Ponds, Mini He has proposed for stadium improvement, guest house in NAC premises, hydraulic digging machine, new school building in various wards, skill development center for youth, new ambulance, hydraulic pressure garbage truck, mechanical cleaning machine. There are currently major projects going on in the city – Atal Bus Terminal – 27 Crores, Turf Cricket Ground – 1.17 Crores, Swimming Pool – 54 Lakhs (in tender process), New Council Building 3 Crores (soon to be tendered) etc. Dr. Agarwal opined that Khariar Road will be known as a leading city in Odisha in the coming days and wished the blessings and cooperation of the Chief Minister and the people of the city.
