Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 28.12.2025 Re: Nandahandi Block B. Nabarangpur District. Dibakar Harijan (34) of Chiliguda village under Maliguda panchayat died after going to cut bricks! The dead young Dibakar Harijan took his wife Ghasini Harijan and his 4 young sons and daughters with him and went to Mundaguda village under Khemapur Panchayat of Khairput Block in Malkangari District to hit bricks! Dibakar was admitted to the Malkangiri District General Hospital on Saturday due to fever for a few days! He died there at three o’clock on Saturday night because of his health condition! After the death, the dead body was delivered to his native Chiliguda village by a chariot on Sunday at 12 o’clock! Dibakar’s family said that his wife has four daughters namely Savita (13), Sanjay (11), Kabita (8) and Kaberi (5)! Only Dibakar was the main earning member in the family! Now after his death, Ghasini’s wife is desperate to take care of the young child! The villagers requested that the family be provided with government financial assistance! Nandahandi Tehsildar Chandra Das Mahanandia informed about this after knowing that 10 thousand rupees will be provided from the Red Cross fund!
