Today, a truck carrying corn overturned on the road of Koraput district’s Thangaon police station, killing lakhs of rupees worth of corn. As a result, the driver, S. Swami, was slightly injured. The said truck was carrying maize from Tikiri to Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh when it met with an accident. Police officer Prasanna Kumar Mishra has revealed that a case has been filed in Thangaon police station. The administration has failed to prevent the accidents while there are dozens of accidents happening at the same place. So there is a general demand to put up a name plate and build a speed breaker at that place.
