
Baripada – Ta:- 08/09/2025 Rikh – The women’s team of Future Star Sports Academy of Mayurbhanj district has brought glory to the district in the Georgia Club Sevens Cup competition organized by Kolkata Cricket and Football Club and Bengal Rugby Union on 6th and 7th of this month. Future Star Sports Academy participated for the first time in the oldest Georgian club Sevens Cup competition. After being undefeated from the first match, they defeated the host Calcutta Cricket and Football Club in the semi-finals in 19-00 and entered the finals. In the final match, they defeated Saraswatipur of Siliguri with a score of 24-12 and became the champion for the first time. The founder of the institute, Divya Ranjan Das, said that Mayurbhanj is responsible for the success of I Future Star Sports Academy. Maharaja Prabin Chandra Bhanjdeo, Maharani Rashmi Rajyalakshmi Bhanjdeo, Baripada Municipal Council Chairman Krishnananda Mohanty, Bhanjsena Founder Keling Keshari Jena, District Athletic Association General Secretary Vijay Kumar Das, District Sports Education Officer Bhagirathi Mallik, District Sports Officer Shubashish Naik, Director of Divine Institute Biplab Bhanjan.
