Nuapada: National Consumer Day has been observed in the local Jillapala Goodwill Home, Weights and Measures Department, Jilla Nuapada and Voluntary Curtain Institute Nuapada in collaboration with Mr. Thantu Ram Naik, ACSO as the Chief Guest in this awareness programme. Nuapada Guest of Honor Mr. Prithuraj Hasde, District Legal Officer, Weights and Measures Department, Nuapada, Mr. Parma Nanda Hans, District Camp Welfare Court Nuapada, Mr. Ramakant Bishi, SDIPRO, Nuapada, Speaker Mr. Narayan Pratap Joshi, Advocate Nuapada participated in the program, Mr. Rudra Charan Patnaik, Chairman Kardan Nuapada, introduced the guests. Mr. Thandu Ram Naik ACSO Nuapada District ration card holders can get rice without being cheated by looking at the correct weight measurement and all poor families can get the card as per the government rules for new ration card. Mr. Narayan Yogi, a lawyer, talked about the rights of consumers and awareness of various laws. He demonstrated and interacted to create awareness in their respective areas.
