Sixth class students of Purnachandra Higher Secondary School, Raghunathpur, Lab Naik, Dekshisha Mandi, Rahul Saren, Teriya Hembram, Shiv Singh, Simal Saren have qualified in the National Junior Kurash Competition held in Bihar. 58 national level and 14 state level contestants participated in it. Among them, Lob Naik is the only contestant from Odisha who has secured second place in the national level and won silver medal, bringing glory to the entire district and state.
