Baripada – Ta :- 18/11/2025 National Theater Festival organized on the occasion of the silver jubilee of OM Theater Institute has been launched at the local Shahid Smrit Bhawan. On the last evening, the orthodox drama “Chithi” sponsored by OM Theater Institute has been staged. Asit Giri, Sujay Mohanty, Vijayini Behera and Adyasha Sahu acted while Srikanth Choudhury in lighting, Shaktiprasad Mishra in music, Narsingh Barik in stage design and Amit Barik in dance direction. Additional Inspector General of Security Deepak Gochayat as chief guest, Padmalochan Mohanty, Patron of Theater Festival as chief guest and MPC Alumni as chief speakers. Editor of the association Pritish Basha inaugurated the last evening’s play and said that organizing the National Theater Festival at Baripada will affect the local Karkar.
