Baripada – Thu :- 27/11/2025 Rikh Local Martyr Memorial Hall 6-day National Multilingual Drama Festival has been organized under the auspices of the local Martyr’s Memorial Building. In the last evening, the drama “Janmamati” of Rourkela has been staged. Vivekananda Das, Pralay Shetpathi, Sudesh Rani Raut, Puspalata Vishoi, Sasmita Bek, Shreyashree, Shudashree, Prathi and Kalyani played the lead roles while Shaktiprasad Mishra did the music, Rajesh Shetpathi did the lighting, Pralaye Shetpathi did the scenery and Prasanna Shetpathi contributed to the drama. In a meeting presided over by Mayor Krishnananda Mohanty, chairman of the festival committee, Sudshanshu Dwivedi, editor of the Odisha Drama Association, joined as the chief guest and expressed that drama has a great impact on people’s lives and praised the institute for organizing the festival. Attended and highlighted the 6-day long drama festival. Manoj Jena, Apabha Sahu and Shubhendu Sahu conducted the stage. Camps were held every day. Paresh Sahu, director of the institute, thanked all the theater organizations and audiences who made the drama festival a success.
