Baripada 12/01 (Fast News Odisha) While the 150th anniversary of India’s national song Bande Mataram is being celebrated today, on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birthday and National Youth Day, Odisha Government’s Odisha Language, Literature and Culture Department, on behalf of the District Culture Office, collectively sang the national song Bande Mataram in the conference room of the District Collector’s office. In the program presided over by District Collector Hemkant Say, Additional District Collector Dukhbandhu Naik and officials and employees of the District Collector’s office were present and showed respect and devotion to the emotional national bandana that awakens the nation’s consciousness and sang together with reverence. Later, District Governor Mr. Sai read out the oath of Swadeshi Resolution to the present officials and employees to build a self-reliant India. Similarly, the district governor called upon everyone to use indigenous products, saying that youth plays a key role in building a self-reliant prosperous nation. District Culture Officer Dr Shudashish Nayak conducted the programme.
