Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 18.01.2026 Rik: Yesterday, Date: 17.01.2026 Rik: Today, a district-level meeting has been held for the entire development in the 4 blocks of the left-wing extremism-affected district of Nabarangpur under the chairmanship of District Governor Maheshwar Swayku in the local district council conference hall! Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer District Councilor Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Additional Superintendent of Police Aditya Kumar Sen, Deputy District Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra were present in this meeting. Additional Executive Officer District Council Yadumani Naik conducted the meeting according to the agenda! Under this plan, a survey will be conducted by the selected committee on the implementation of various public welfare schemes, improvement of living standards, people’s involvement in the development of basic facilities and the administration of survivors in 30 villages of the 4 blocks of Raighar, Jharigaon, Chandahandi and Dabu villages affected by the left-wing extremism of the district. Drinking water supply, roads, roads, affordable shops, residential schools, health services, immunization, tuberculosis, malaria, sickle cell, anemia diagnosis, Aadhar card, labor card, Subhadra Yojana, registered seeds and use of agricultural machinery, child and women development, nutrition, old age in these 30 villages by a total of 24 departments. Allowance, diversity allowance, toilet, ambulance service, bus service will be surveyed on various departmental plans! In this survey work, the beneficiaries of various schemes are identified, the rural beneficiaries are identified and proposed in various departmental plans in the village meeting, if the identified beneficiaries cannot fulfill some criteria, then they will be sent for departmental approval after the approval of the district administration! The district governor ordered the 24 district departmental officers under the “Gramoday” plan in 30 identified villages to undertake the entire development in the rural areas and complete the survey work quickly! For this work, the block level committee will have the BD and chairman of the respective block and the block nodal officer! Additional executive officers will work as district level nodal officers! All district level departmental officers, BDO, block level officers were present in the meeting!
