Malkangiri, 24/9/25: District Magistrate Somesh Kumar Upadhyay has canceled all holidays till September 28 in the district. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a deep depression over the Bangop Sea and heavy rains, strong winds and adverse weather conditions may occur in the district in the next few days. In view of this situation and to deal with any possible emergency situation, the District Governor has ordered that no officer or employee of the district can leave the headquarters without the prior permission of the District Governor. Along with this, all types of leave previously sanctioned till September 28 have been cancelled. Strict action will be taken against the concerned officers and employees in case of disobeying the directive, it has been mentioned in the directive.
