Baripada 23/10 (Fast News.Odisha) District level science drama competition has been held in Lady Hamilton Government High School campus in Baripada under the authority of Mayurbhan District Education Office. District Education Officer Punchandra Sethi was the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of Principal Meenarani Pan, District Science Visitor Wisnanranjan Acharya was the guest of honor and highlighted the importance of drama. While the students of 8 schools from the district participated in the competition, playwright Ananda Shankar Das, actor Wisnanranjan Panda and Prakashchandra Das participated as the judges of the competition. In the competition, Lady Hamilton Government High School Baripada, Maharaja Krishna Chandra School, Baripada, OV Udla stood first, second and third respectively and received certificates and trophies from the guests. Teachers Nayangiri, Basant Dutt, Manoj Parida, Manoj Parida, Sanjeev Dalei, Teacher Prakat Mishra, all the teachers, students and education staff of the main organizing school contributed. It is reported that the school which won the first place will take part in the district competition to be held in Baripada on October 24 this month covering the districts of Mayurbhanj, Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar etc.
