Baripada – Date:- 21/09/2025 Rik Baripada Municipal High School Purnchandrapur Government High Primary School Premises, Mayurbhanj district level both boys and girls below 14 and 17 years of age competition has been held. The competition organized by District Education Department Anukully was held under the direct supervision of School Principal Saumya Das. Inaugurating the competition, Yoga helps in the physical, mental and intellectual development of the students. I District Physical Education Officer Bhagirathi Mallik highlighted the rules of the competition.
Additional Block Education Officer Tapaswini Das, Ex-Principal of the school Somnath Singh, Baripada Block Nodal P.E.T. Imagination Mahapatra joined the guests and encouraged the students. A total of 86 students from different blocks of the district participated in the competition. The talented contestants will participate in the state-level yoga competition to be held in Malkangiri district in the first week of November. Teacher Deepak Ram and all the teachers and students of the school, sports teacher Abhishek Behera, dormitory warden Saroj Kumar Sabat and staff helped in the management of the program.
