Baripada – Date:- 26/10/2025 Rikh The rugby football competition of both boys and girls under the age of 14 and 17 years under the age of 14 and under 17 years of Mayurbhanj district was held at the playground of Punchandrapur Government High Primary School in Baripada municipality. Somnath Singh, former principal of the host school, Chittaranjan Palata, president of OSTA Teachers Federation, were present as guests. Dibaranjan Das, Krishna Tudu, Raimohan Naik, Prakash Chandra Soi, Malin Soi, Bukai Hasda Major participated as judges. Participate in State Rugby Football Tournament to be held at Government High School, IRC Village, Bhubaneswar from 30th November to 1st November.
Srikanth Singh, Kashinath Tudu, Dasarath Majhi, Ramchandra Hembram, Badal Naik, Ramachandra Hembram, Haridanand Singh, Sharat Dehuri, Sukul Baske, Yadu Nesara, Phagu Murmu, Hidas Singh in the under 17 boys category while Sumitra Murmu, Sudsna Krishna Naik, Dulari Hasada, Jayanthi Baske, Shubhadra Soren, Salge Murmu, Savita Soren, Pail Hasada, Samsara Soren, Sita Marandi, Sulena Hembram and Padmavati Singh placed in the under 14 boys category, Vikram Das, Surya Prakash Naik, Biju Marandi, Seeman Murmu, Bishnupad Mahanth, Rajen Hasada, Muna Singh, Bashari Marandi, Shankhacharan Tudu, Saiba Marandi, Atanu Mani, Anand Karua and Hiram Murmu, Sugi Hembram, Meenakshi Tudu, Salma Hembram, Meena Marandi, Savitri Marandi, Vale Ho, Namita Ho, Hisi Majhi, Lakshmi Marandi, Dudu Marandi, Ranjita Singh have been placed in girls category.
