Malkangiri: 27/25 (Naka Ravi Kumar) At the district office of Uttar Pradesh Federation of Journalists in Malkangiri District Sadar today, the puja of Lord Ganesha, the Destroyer of Disturbance, has been conducted with adambara. While this puja has been celebrated by the union for 5 consecutive years, this year the president of the Federation Ashok Mishra performed the homam and all the pujas. Ganesh was worshiped as per the rituals. On this occasion, all the workers of the federation and many members from different blocks joined the puja. All equipment used by journalists was also worshiped. President Mr. Mishra said that as in the past years, this year too, food was served on the 29th of Friday at noon. During the pooja, Federation Editor Srinivas Pote, Joint Editor Shivdutta Sahu, Adviser Ratnakar Das, Rahul Glory, Pradeep Maharana, Chandrakant Panda, Rajesh Bepari, Sudshanshu Shekhar Mohanty, Pankaj Khara, Bijan Mandal were prominently present.
