Baripada, on 20/03/2026, a district level best practice workshop was held under the auspices of Disability International (HI) and the European Union (EU) under the auspices of SAUNDA. On this day, all the workers of the sauna, panchayat level and district level members of Dibang organization, regional non-institutional organizations, Sarpanch and Anganwadi workers of various panchayats participated in large numbers. Swarnajit Kumari Mohapatra, project coordinator of Sauna, conducted the day. Block Development Officer Devendra Prasad Bal, Additional Officer of Veterinary Hospital Dr. Debbarat Das, DPM (National Health Mission) Officer Anil Kumar Mohanty, Social Security Officer of Shulwanpada Block Dekshisha Murmu joined. Director of SAUNDA Mr. Prabhakar Sahu addressed all the participants present and presented some effective issues or good practices of various Dibang organizations which aim to inspire others and improve organizational skills. Mr. Prabhakar Sahu discussed some of the best practices of the Samhita project in identifying the lifestyle problems of marginalized people and disseminating the effective results elsewhere and taking action for change as the main objective of the workshop. 35 good practices collected from 6 districts of Samhita project working from education, health, livelihood, methods were thoroughly discussed. All participants shared ideas on how they can implement what they learned from these best practices in their organizations. At the end, gender specialist Shubh Pagana thanked all the participants.
