Malkangiri:- 5/9/2025 : District Education Officer’s office at the local district council meeting room and celebrating the district level Guru Day, Chief Minister’s Education Award has been awarded to the best teachers selected in the district category and five best teachers who have been retired by the district education administration. The ceremony was presided over by Additional District Education Officer Manjulta Bhoi, Additional District Collector Somnath Pradhan as President, MLA Malkangiri Narsingh Madkami as Chief Guest, District Council Chairperson Samari Tangulu as Chief Guest, Additional District Collector Vedbar Pradhan as Chief Speaker, Sanjay Sarkar representing Nabarangpur MP, Govind Chandra Panas representing MLA Chittarakonda, Teacher Education Institute Chairperson Mamta. Zodiac was the main stage. The guests felicitated the meritorious teachers by presenting them with certificates and trophies. The present guests also gave a speech that the role of Guru is very important in the formation of the nation. In this program, seven people from the primary education category, five people from the secondary education category, one regional staff coordinator, selected by Panchaskha Shikshan Setu organization managed by the school and public education department, while five retired best teachers from the district education administration Malkangari have been promoted. The program was coordinated by the senior teacher Debraj Sethi and assisted by Jagdish Sethi, along with all the staff of the district education officer’s office and the entire education office also participated and made the program a success.
