Malkangiri, 29/11/2025: On the instructions of the Additional District Magistrate, a district level training: Anti-Trafficking Act, 1961 training camp has been held at the local district council conference room. Program Officer Indira Pradhan, PO Com PO T. Jayalakshmi, District Collector of Women Empowerment Mani Mohan Sarkar were present in the program and asked to sensitize the women in every village in the district so that no women in the district become victims of sex rituals. CDPOs, supervisors and members of all women police assistant desks of the district were present in the program. Shakti Sadan staff, Onstaff staff, self help groups, worshipers and scholars, DLS staff, various college staff, student union, District Women Empowerment Center staff were present. In this camp, Ashok Kumar Patnayak (Chief Legal Defense Counsellor), DSP Mamata Manigrahi imparted training on Anti-Privacy Act, 1961. The program was organized by the staff of District Social Welfare Department.
