Tumoban, 12/11/2025 A block level Fisheries and Livestock Fair-2025 has been successfully organized in the premises of Veterinary Hospital at Tumoban in accordance with Fisheries and Veterinary Department. The main objective of the fair was to promote various people-oriented schemes of the Department of Fisheries and Livestock to the people and ensure its implementation. Through this program, the farmers engaged in fish, cow, goat, sheep, chicken and pig farming were given training and promoted so that they can be more profitable. On the occasion of the fair, some of the successful farmers of different panchayats of the block were presented with gifts, certificates, trophies and incentive money by the chief guest and honored guests. And on this occasion, apart from agriculture and animal department, various stalls like millet, herbs, cow food etc. were also organized. In this important event, Chief Guest = Honorable MLA Mr. Baliguda, Mr. Chakramani Kanhar, Honorable Guest = Mr. Tumu Band Panchayat Samiti Adkhasha, Ms. Basanti Majhi, District Council Member Mr. Tumu Band Mr. Navin Pan, Honorable MP Representative Tumu Band Mr. Purunchandra Padhi, Group Development Officer Tumu Band Mr. Banbihari Harpal, Additional District Veterinary Hospital Animal Welfare Department Officer Kandhamal Mr. Dr. Dag Vijaygiri, Additional Veterinary Hospital Animal Production Department Officer Kandhamal Dr. Dr. Piyush Ranjan Soren, Additional Veterinary Hospital Animal Disease Control Officer Kandhamal. Pranab Kishore Patnaik Keynote Speaker = Upakhand Veterinary Hospital Officer Baliguda Mr. Dr. Lambodar Mohapatra Special Guest = District Chief Veterinary Hospital Officer Kandhamal Mr. Dr. Bhagwat Ghosh, District Fisheries Officer, Kandhamal Mr. Vishwaranjan Rath was the chief guest. The program was very nicely conducted by Mr. Anang Kumar Das, VAS of Tumbonband, while all the LIs of Tumbonband. (LI)s cooperated.
