Baripada – 19/01/2026 6-day Makar Mahotsab organized on the occasion of Triranga Club’s annual celebration at Purnachandrapur, Ward No. 15, Baripada Municipality – 1st three days of 2026. Various activities among Kunikuni children including running, discus and shot put throw, mother aunt’s conch shell blowing, musical chairs. The sports competition has been held. On the 4th day evening, around 70 talented contestants were awarded with an interesting dance program. In addition, Sonu Gochayat, the champion in the junior group girls’ division, Jagannath Warriors, the champion of the volleyball competition and Shaktiman Six Stars team, the runners-up, were also awarded. Baripada SDP and Pangam Kumar Mallik attended and gave away the prize and praised the efforts of the club for encouraging the talents by performing various games on the occasion of Makar celebrations. Nirupma Mohanty of Ward No. 15, educationist Nab Kishore Palbabu and senior teacher Somnath Singh were present as honored guests and encouraged the talents.
