Nabarangpur District Governor Dr. Maheshwar joined as the chief guest and hoisted the national flag at 8:30 am. Greeted the parade and addressed the crowd! On this occasion, at 4.30 am, Ramdhun was performed by the district information and public relations office, at 7.00 am, floral wreaths were placed at the idols of Mahapru located in different parts of the city, and at 7.30 am, the national flag was hoisted in all government and non-governmental institutions of the city! In his speech, the chief guest paid tribute to the freedom fighters of Nabarangpur district, sacrifices, brave children of the soil who were martyred in the shooting of the palm trees, committed to the country, the constitution, and spoke about various plans and initiatives of the government towards the overall development of the district! In the field of health in Nabarangpur district, service to 5 lakh beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, 2,86,024 beneficiaries in the district have been successful in getting 3 installments so far under Subhadra Yojana, construction of tribal museum by January 2027 at a cost of Rs. 6 crores for the memorial park of Shahid Minar in Papdahandi and Rs.5 crores for the development of Hirli Dung, supply of clean and long-lasting drinking water to every rural family through mega drinking water project, construction of 9 Godabarish Mishra model schools in the district and construction of 7 new stand-alone model schools at a cost of Rs.39 crore each, 935 hectares of land through the Turi-Gunithat project of the Irrigation Department. Irrigation, widening of National Highway 26, Bharat Mala Project, Junagadh – Nabarangpur and Nabarangpur – Jaipur railways, new possibilities of industrialization and mass employment due to improvement in transport, construction of block level stadiums in 10 blocks, representation of students from various schools of the district in sports at the national level, recognition of the second place in the Adarsh Youth Gram Sabha of Hirli Eklaby Adarsh School. Kari said that the government is always giving priority to the district for the all-round development of the district. Sandeep Sampad, Chief Security Officer, along with the chief guest, were present at the flag stage. A total of 27 educational institutions and 9 educational institutions participated in the display of physical sports skills and cultural programs along with the police platoon in the parade ground. At 3.00 pm, a friendly limited over cricket match was held between the District Education Department XI and the District Attorney’s Association XI and the Attorney’s Association XI won and received the trophy from the Chief Guest. At 6.30 pm in the evening cultural and prize distribution program at the local RCD High School, the chief guest District Governor Maheshwar Mohanty and the guest of honor Additional District Governor (General) Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Additional District Governor (Revenue) Vishwajit Burman, Deputy District Governor Kumar Mishra, District Education Officer Prakash Chhatrapati Sahu were present.
