Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 19.11.2025 Rikh: Under the ‘PM Kisan’ scheme of the Hon’ble Prime Minister for the welfare of the country’s farmers, the 21st aid funding program for the year 2025-26 was successfully organized at Nabarangpur Mission Shakti Conference Hall and Umerkot Agriculture Science Center! Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the program live from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu through Avasi! Hon’ble MLA Gauri Shankar Majhi and Additional District Magistrate (Chachasamam) Tapan Kumar Khuntia attended the program as the chief guest and launched the program! He congratulated the farmers and mentioned that the PM-Kisan scheme is playing a vital role in the financial empowerment of farmers! A total of 100 farmers from Nabarangpur, Nandahandi and Tenthlikhunti block participated in this program! Similarly, in the “PM Kisan” live broadcast program organized at Umerkot Agricultural Science Center, Hon’ble Lok Sabha MP Balabhadra Majhi was present as the chief guest and said that this financial assistance to the farmers will definitely help in the improvement of agriculture! Honorable MP including Kunj Bihari Das, Mrs. Basanti Majhi, Ram Naik and agricultural officials were present! A total of 20 crores 81 lakhs 86 thousand rupees have been deposited in the deposit accounts of 104093 farmers of the district at the rate of 2000 rupees each! As a result of receiving this financial support, the farmers of the district can start farming with new enthusiasm, hope and motivation for a beautiful agricultural future!
