Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 16.12.2025 Rik: Nabarangpur Municipal High School, Nabarangpur District Level Science and Children’s Science Exhibition-2025 has been held! District Governor Dr. Maheshwar Swayu was the chief guest at the opening ceremony, Nabarangpur District Chief Medical Officer Satish Panda, District Education and Training Institute Chairman Omkar Patnaik joined as the chief guest, Additional District Education Officer Prakash Chandra Mahalik, Nabarangpur District Science Supervisor Chittaranjan Patnaik, Village High School Principal Meena Bagh Manchasin were there! Nabarangpur District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu presided over the program! At the beginning of the program, the chief guest Nabarangpur district president and all the guests lit the island and launched the program! The chief guest Nabarangpur District Governor Dr. Maheshwar Swain in his speech showed all the child scientists present the way to accelerate the growth of new ideas! Students of schools under different blocks of Nabarangpur district participated in the science fair program! A total of 130 projects were included in this program! All the projects of the science fair were prepared by the students on science, technology, engineering and mathematics topics such as conceptual agriculture, waste management and alternatives to plastics, green energy, emerging technologies, entertaining mathematical modelling, health and sanitation, water conservation and management for a developed India and a self-reliant India! The judging panel looked at all the projects and selected 13 projects from among the students’ performances! Out of these 13 projects, 7 projects will be presented by the students at the state level science fair under the children’s science exhibition! Bishnu Mandal, Anvesha Suna, Pratima Pujari, Sasmita Jani, Naresh Pujari, Lovely Sahu, Bhuban Gand achieved success in this children’s science exhibition section! Similarly, Ankita Das, Dinesh Harijan, Babita Jani in the initial stage and Sai Harjesh Sahu, Dharamdee Bhatra, Om Prakash Lenka achieved success in the secondary stage under the National Discovery Campaign! Nabarangpur Additional District Collector Tapan Khuntia joined the program as the chief guest while Nabarangpur Upazila Prakash Kumar Mishra joined as the guest of honour. The guests awarded prizes to all the students selected for the district level science fair and distributed certificates to all the contestants!
