On the occasion, Hon’ble MP Lok Sabha Balabhadra Majhi, Chairman of the meeting Additional District Governor Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Municipal Chairman Kunu Naik, Education Minister Kunj Bihari Das, MP Sports Coordinator Arjun Tripathi, District Sports Association Editor, Dr. Vijay Mishra Maqar as the main speaker! The district information and public relations officer Manoj Kumar Behera gave a speech on the purpose of celebrating Jayanthi and good governance day! At the Jayanti ceremony, the guests expressed their views on Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s life philosophy, patriotism, foresight, great politician and human sensitivity and encouraged the contestants who participated in the MP game competition! The chief guest honorable MP in his speech praised the ideals of Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and described him as an outstanding poet, self-respecting, strong political person, brave and fearless personality! In the same way, he encouraged the successful contestants in the sports festival held in Nabarangpur MP area and emphasized on creating interest in sports in the district so that more and more contestants will participate in this sports festival in the coming days! On this occasion, Bharat Ratna awarded the chief guest prize to the successful contestants of essay and speech competition among high school and college students on the life philosophy and good governance of Atal Bihari Vajpayee! In 21 blocks of Nabarangpur MP constituency, various sports competitions such as football, volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, Khokho 100m and 200m run, long jump were passed at team and individual level. 34 contestants of boys and girls category were awarded certificates and trophies by the chief guest! On behalf of the District Culture Office, 3 cultural groups, Sathvik Art Center, Cleaner Union, Sairam Art Center served cultural programs!
