Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 26.12.2025 Rekh: At 11:00 am, the District Social Welfare Department celebrated Bir Bal Day at the Ashok Mehta District Collector’s Office! In this program, District Social Welfare Officer Draupadi Kaher welcomed everyone and gave timely information on celebrating Veer Bal Day! Additional District Collector (General) Tapan Kumar Khuntia joined the program as the chief guest and gave a message to remember the sacrifice, courage and devotion of the brave boys and to awaken the spirit of love for the country among the youth! District Social Security Officer Sudshanshu Pan, District Information and Public Relations Officer, Additional District Welfare Officer Manoj Behera, District Physical Education Officer Dillip Patnaik, District Child Protection Officer Suresh Patnaik in their speech discussed the sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh’s two sons Baba Jorabar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the sacrifices of the Bir boys of the country, patriotism and ideals and inspired the youth from them. Called to accept! From childhood, students were encouraged to teach patriotism, self-respect and honesty! Everyone watched Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s live broadcast at the Veer Bal Day event held at Vijjana Bhawan, New Delhi at 12:30 PM!
