Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 23.10.2025 Rikh: An awareness walk related to cyber security has been held from the local Shabshiv Park in Nabarangpur city to the police ground! The march organized by the district police department was launched by the presence of the district governor Maheshwar Swayum and security officer Madkar Sandeep Sampath! Nowadays many people are losing their hard earned money due to cyber fraud and this awareness walk was organized as per the instructions of the state government to prevent it and create awareness! In this march, Additional District Collector Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Deputy District Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra, Additional Superintendent of Police Aditya Kumar Sen, Nabarangpur Superintendent of Police Samvit Behera, DIPR and Manoj Behera, various officers of the police department, students of Vidyarthi College, Smart Gurukul, students of Women’s College, staff of various institutions were involved in the major march! During the walk, special awareness was created on online and TP fraud, e-commerce refund fraud, job fraud, fake and quick loan apps, parcel fraud, trading fraud, digital arrest fraud! The District Magistrate and Security Officer explained to the roadside shopkeepers and the general public by giving leaflets with a warning message! Do not share OTP, PIN number with anyone, use strong password, do not click on any suspicious links, be careful on social media, safe online shopping through placards! In case of any financial loss, it is important to call the Cyber Helpline 1930 immediately (within 1 hour)!
