The ninth meeting of the 6th district council in Nuapada district has been held under the chairmanship of the district council president Mrs. Dolly Majhi at the local Sadhavna meeting house. District president Madhusudan Das along with honorable Kharia MLA Adhiraj Mohan Pahigrahi, honorable Nuapada MLA Jay Dholkia, Kalahandi MP representative Prasanna Padhi, district council vice president Mrs. Deepika Deep reviewed the work of major departments. First, District Council President Mrs. Dolly Majhi felicitated the newly elected Nuapada MLA Jay Dholakia with flowers l District Chief Development Officer Lambodar Dharua presented the progress report l In this meeting the activities of 13 departments such as agriculture, health, education, fisheries, social welfare, food supply, animal resources, water and sanitation were discussed. Along with this, there was a review on the progress of the draft approved in the last meeting. All 14 district council members, 5 block chairpersons, all district level officials attended the meeting and participated in the discussion.
