A preparatory meeting for the district level agricultural machinery fair 25/26 has been held in the conference room of Nuapada District Collector Madhusudan Das. The fair will be held under the auspices of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment. After welcoming everyone in the meeting, District Chief Agriculture Officer Pradeep Kumar Naik gave information about the details of the fair. It has been decided that the fair will be held in the local police area from January 16 to 20. The five-day fair will cost Rs 25 lakh. The District Magistrate suggested to display the success stories of the successful farmers of the district through a play in the fair. There will be 40 stalls of agriculture and related departments in the fair. More than 2000 farmers from different blocks are expected to meet in the fair. Along with this fair, Shree Anna festival is also scheduled to be held.
