A one-day training camp for sports teachers has been organized at the indoor stadium at Nuapada police ground for the selection of sports talent for the year 2026. On the instructions of District Magistrate Madhusudan Das, the camp was organized by District Sports Officer Rajendra Prasad. Teacher Magurpani High School and Saroj Kumar Pradhan, Sports teacher Banjibahal High School trained and imparted training to other sports teachers today. Sports teacher Mohan Kumar Mahant, PM Shri National High School Nuapada, Shovit Kumar Bhoi, Tarbod High School, Shovaram Raut, Govt Girls High School, Khariar Road, Birendra Bagh, Govt High School, Tukla, Dhanjay Jaksena, Nehena High School, Dobmani Nial, Nagpada High School, Bharat Pradhan, Meelovta High School, Kumari are participating in this training camp. Kaushalya Majhi, JM High School Komna, M Kumar Kharsel, MDC Nuapada, Rakesh Kumar Dadai, AV Negipali, Shyam Dharua, Chaingipadar High School and Debbrat Sahu, Kabaddi Coach, Khelo India took the major training. Training was provided from 10 am to 3 pm. In the coming days, the selection process for athletics, football, and volleyball games will be held in Nuapada district as per the orders of the sports directorate. It has been decided to hold the selection process for all other sports in other districts. District Sports Officer Rajendra Prasad has urged all the students who have registered online to be prepared. Finally, the District Sports Officer thanked the District Magistrate, Nuapada, District Education Officer, Nuapada, District Physical Education Officer, Nuapada and all the sports teachers.
