
In order to speed up the overall development of Nuapada district and to strengthen intra-divisional coordination, an important meeting of the district development committee was held today at the local Sadhavna assembly hall under the chairmanship of District Collector Madhusudan Das. Bankhand Officer (Wildlife) Sameer Sahu, Bankhand Officer (Provisional) Aziz Khan, Additional District Magistrate Subash Chandra Rait, District Chief Development Officer Lambodar Dharua, Deputy District Magistrate Ms. Surmi Soren, District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dhaneshwar Sethi, APD Khasnidhi Bhoi including all district level officers, Group Development Officer, Tehsildar, Acquisition Officer, Enforcement Officer and various Officers of line department were present l At the beginning of the meeting the Additional District Magistrate welcomed all the officers and announced the purpose of the meeting l The District Magistrate directed the district level officers to ensure exchange of online files and all correspondence through OSWAS in all government offices of the district l Deputy Director, Statistics Dileswar Dharua presented the details of last month’s meeting. In the past month, the District Magistrate reviewed the progress of each department and the obstacles, discrepancies and their solutions in the development work. In the meeting, the Tourism Department reviewed various works and other construction works. District Governor directed the Roads and Buildings, Rural Development and National Highways Departments to complete all the construction works soon. It was revealed from the meeting that the coaching for administrative, banking, SSC and other recruitment exams of the district job aspirants has started from last 14th. Similarly, a detailed review was conducted on the functioning of all departments including Irrigation, Panchayati Raj, Revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Roads and Housing, Rural Development, Raised Irrigation, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation, Livestock, Transport, Education, Health, Forests, Mining and Tourism, Declared Area Councils. The Tahsildars also discussed about providing land leases for various offices, educational institutions, hospitals, veterinary clinics, sports centers, playgrounds and construction of new buildings. At the end of the meeting, the District Governor called upon all departmental officers and employees to work with dedicated attitude and lead the district on the path of progress. After that, Village Day review meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Collector. In the beginning District Chief Development Officer Lambodar Dharua welcomed everyone and explained the purpose of the meeting.
