
Jaimini Jha of Chuk Tia Bhunjia community, a primitive tribe of Sunabeda valley in Nuapada district, has been promoted to the district office by the District Governor Madhusudan Dash as the first student of the Ph.D. “You have brought honor and glory not only to yourself but to your family, society and the entire district by obtaining a doctorate in botany from Kish University,” said the District Collector. This tribal student from the primitive tribe category has achieved this great success by remaining steadfast towards her goals despite all social blind beliefs and geographical barriers. Today she has achieved the highest degree in the field of education and has become a source of inspiration for other students in the society. She has also been awarded as the most educated woman from the primitive tribe by His Excellency President Draupadi Murmu. He did his high school education at Kanyakula Guru Ashram, Sunabeda l Studied +2 at Government Higher Secondary School, Dharmabanda and +3 at Kharia Autonomous College l Passed BA in Botany from Rajendra World School Balangir l PhD in Botany from Kiss University with research on Toxicity & safety implications of herbal medicine, a case study in Nuapada District Graduated for the above achievement, District Magistrate Madhusudan Das congratulated him and said that Tame Chuk Tia Bhunjia community will be a source of inspiration for the child. Along with this, he advised Gemini to make efforts to bring forward the neglected students of his society.
