
Nuapada: Hon’ble Union Home and Cooperatives Minister Amit Shah has inaugurated a new Cyber and Economic Crime Station at Nuapada through virtual means. On this occasion, a number of cyber and financial crime police stations have been launched simultaneously in different districts of Odisha. In this event held at IDCO exhibition ground of Bhubaneswar Unit-3 area, Honorable Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo and Panagi Parida, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Urban Development Minister Dr. Krishnachandra Mahapatra, and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Shadangi were the chief guests. On this occasion, District Magistrate Madhusudan Das and District Security Officer Omritpal Singh inaugurated the name plaque of the police station in a grand program organized at Nuapada police station. In this program, all officers of the police department, all police station officers, Nuapada police officers along with Additional Superintendent of Police Ranjit Naik were present. Individuals, senior citizens, members of the media joined the virtual inauguration program and enjoyed it on the big screen. With the establishment of cyber and financial crime police station in Nuapada, it will play an important role in early investigation and prevention of complaints related to cyber fraud and online financial crime.
