In the beginning, Additional District Collector Subash Chandra Ritt welcomed everyone and presented the purpose of the meeting. Advised staff to keep index register, log book, guard file, cash book updated regularly. He gave priority to the queries of the Legislative Assembly and asked them to answer them as soon as possible. Addressing everyone, the District Collector said that all the officers and employees should work with dedication to make all the departments of the District Collector efficient. Deputy Collector once in a week, Additional District Collector once in 15 days and District Collector once in a month will inspect all log books, guard files. All departmental correspondence will be sent through Oswas until the end of February. The District Magistrate ordered that all correspondence and details should be prepared in Odia language. According to the review, Nuapada district has occupied the first place in the entire state by doing 90.5 percent of land lease reform in the district. All the tehsils and blocks of the district are exchanging letters in Oswas. Nuapada district ranks 13th in the entire state in exchange of letters through Oswas. The District Magistrate urged the officials to put it in the first place. He asked the officials to focus on ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the right beneficiaries and to solve the problems of the people promptly. In particular, the execution of the priority schemes of the state and central government will not be neglected. In addition, the District Collector announced that junior revenue assistants, senior revenue assistants and departmental officers will be awarded for showing good performance every month. The District Collector called upon the officials to work in a coordinated and cooperative manner and provide services to improve the performance of various departments. The meeting was attended by Deputy District Collector Surmi Soren, all administrative officers, staff, district information and public relations officers of the District Collector’s office and various district level officials.
