The monthly review meeting of Nuapada District Soil Conservation and Watershed Development Department was held in the headquarters conference room under the supervision of District Magistrate Madhusudan Das l At the beginning of the meeting Project Director Watershed, Rashmiranjan Pater welcomed everyone and gave detailed information about the departmental programs l Assistant Director Soil Conservation Officer Akutam Prabha Singh in the various schemes implemented in the district such as Pradhan Mantri Prakshi Sinchai Yojana, Rainfed Regional Development Yojana, Jaldara Yojana, Mindaga, Agroforestry Yojana He presented information about the 63 hectares of saplings planted and the progress of all the plans so far. The District Governor ordered the completion of 130 pond excavation works in the water supply plan by March 31, while he ordered the completion of all the projects under the Mindaga plan by the month of March.
