Nuapada: A review meeting of “Let’s go to school” campaign has been held under the chairmanship of Nuapada District Collector Madhusudan Das. District Education Officer Karunakar Bhuy presided over the AI meeting in which all concerned district level officials of the education department participated. The review revealed that 5807 children are out of school in the entire district. Out of this, 4735 people dropped out while 1072 people did not go to school due to deposit. According to the instructions of the District Collector, special teacher-parent meetings, education meetings and marches were held in the district. Among them, 992 drop-out children and 170 children who did not go to school have been enrolled in different schools again. The officials of the education department and various departments will jointly go to the homes of drop-out children and explain to such children and their parents and encourage them to enroll in schools, colleges, various vocational trainings, ITIs or polytechnics.
